His Helping Hands is a Christ-centered, benevolence ministry demonstrating the love of Christ by addressing the physical needs of individuals in the Wichita and Sedgwick County areas who are facing hardships, including victims of natural disasters, families living below the poverty line, and at-risk families. We are dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person we serve, while fostering connections to the local church and community.
HHH provides help to these families by distributing needed clothing, furniture, and other household items at no cost. By being the “Hands of Christ” in helping others, we show the love of Christ in a practical way, thus ministering both to the clients and the donors by helping people, help people.

Featuring the Smorgas Chorus

Wichita’s SmorgasChorus is joining His Helping Hands for a special benefit concert on Sunday, August 30 at 3:00 pm in Central Court!
His Helping Hands, a ministry of Central Christian Church, serves individuals and families throughout our community by providing food, clothing, furniture, and other essential household items. Before receiving services, every client has the opportunity to hear the Gospel and receive prayer, allowing us to meet both physical and spiritual needs while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
SmorgasChorus, a nine-time internationally ranked barbershop chorus, brings audiences an exciting blend of gospel, choral, and popular favorites, all performed a cappella in the tight-harmony style of barbershop music, known for its rich sound and signature ringing chords.
Admission is FREE, so bring your family and friends and enjoy a great afternoon of music while supporting two local organizations making an impact in our community.
