Top 10 Things You Need to Know if You're New to Central

  1. What is the main thing I need to know about CCC?

We are a Bible-believing church that encourages everyone to “Think Like Jesus. Live Like Jesus.” As a large church, we have MANY opportunities for everyone to connect, grow and serve...often through active smaller Community Groups.

  2. What are the differences between your 5 weekend services?

The Saturday evening FIVE:33 service meets at, well, 5:33pm, with worship led by a praise band and is geared toward families but includes a diverse mix of ages, ethnicity and family/single attendees.

The Sunday morning REVIVE service (11:30am) has the same worship style. While originally targeted at college age and young adults, a wide variety of ages are now attending.

Two Sunday morning services (8:45am & 10:00am) have worship led by a choir and full orchestra as well as a Praise Team.

As a rule, ALL of the services will have the same message.

The Sunday evening service, Casa de Luz (led by Edwin Ojedis), is the Spanish speaking service held in the Chapel.

  3. What should I wear?

We’re not keen about dictating what people wear. If you like to “dress up” that’s fine. If you prefer jeans and a T-shirt, you’ll fit right in as well. Jesus was always inviting people to “come as you are.” We agree!

  4. Do you offer communion at every service?

Yes. At the early Sunday morning services (8:45 & 10:00) you take communion when the tray is passed to you and then you pass it on to the next person (we don't pass it all out and then take it at one time.) At the Saturday evening and late Sunday morning services (11:30), attendees are invited to go to locations around the Worship Center and have communion, often as a family worship.

  5. What opportunities do you have for kids or teens?

Kids and teens are a priority @ CCC! In addition to diverse kids and youth programs, we also have an Academy (Central Christian Academy) that offers Pre-K through 8th-grade Accredited Christian education.

  6. Do you offer baptism opportunities?

People are immersed before, during and after services depending on if individuals desire a private time with their family and friends. We also baptize during the week if desired. In addition, we offer special “Baptism Weekends” to celebrate those who take this act of faith and commitment.

  7. What adult programs do you offer?

Our men’s, women’s and young adult programs include weekend and during-the-week Bible studies, special events, outings and sports programs. Add to this the Community Groups connections for those who like a small-group “family,” and you have opportunities for all to thrive, grow and fellowship!

  8. What kind of preaching should I expect?

Sometimes, it’s easier if we just “show” you. Many past sermons are available here.

  9. Is there a way that I can serve God at CCC?

For sure! Check out these options.

  10. If I want to “check out” your services before coming in person, is there a way to do that?

Sure! Our Saturday evening and Sunday morning services are all streamed live on the web. See the countdown at the top of this page? When the services are ready to go “live,” that countdown bar will turn orange and say “WATCH LIVE SERVICE.” Click it to watch the entire service.
