We have a garden on our 5 acre property at 3807 S Webb Road.
Fresh vegetables are grown and then provided to Central Christian Church’s Homeless Ministry, Union Rescue Mission and other ministries as crops allow.
Each spring we have the need for volunteers to work with our Chief Gardeners to prepare the ground, prepare seedlings and plan for the planting season.
Most garden tools are available, but you may find that you have a favorite garden tool you which to use. You are welcome to bring it. However we usually are in need of clay and plastic flower pots (cleaned up), potting soil, watering cans and garden hoses.
