High School Fall Retreat
December 1–3

We are heading to Westminster Woods, an hour east of Wichita, for a weekend retreat with the middle school students. We use the word retreat very intentionally. This weekend is a great time for your students to get away from the distractions and busyness of life; to retreat from it all. The weekend will include speakers, creative worship time, as well as lots of games and activities. Students will get to stay in cabins and enjoy the weekend with friends and leaders.

The cost is $70 per student, with a $35 minimum due at the time of registration!

High School Fall Retreat • December 1–3
We will meet at the C3 Youth Center on Friday, December 1 at 5:30pm for check-in and leave by 6:00pm. We will return on Sunday, December 3 at 11:15am.
Register online now!

Tree of Angels
Now through December 4

Tree of Angels

Sponsoring a child from our "Tree of Angels" has been a tradition here at Central for close to 20 years. During the month of November, we will have a table set up in the lobby before and after services with the names of our "angels" available for "adoption." You may also get them during the week by emailing Barb Marchand. We also offer you the option to “adopt” a child via our website. Simply complete the form below and we will email you the details.

Once you have your child's information, purchase your gift, no more than $50, wrap it and attach the gift tag to the gift to identify which child the gift is for. You can return them to the church lobby when you come for worship or drop them off at the church office during the week. Remember that all gifts must be delivered by December 4th!

Most importantly we ask that you pray for your child and their family. Many of the children we present to you are from single-parent, low-income homes; some are orphans who live with extended family or other caretakers. There are a variety of needs which we are not aware of, but God is. While this gift may bring them excitement every child anticipates on Christmas morning, even more so, it is our prayer these gifts will help them find the true joy that only comes from knowing our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The King of Christmas

The King of Christmas

The Central Christian Worship Arts Team presents The King of Christmas!

December 10 & 11, 2017 at 7:00pm

We worship a mighty King and His coming to Earth was a spectacular event heralded by angels, and visited by shepherds and Magi. He is the King of kings and we celebrate who He is during this Christmas season.

Plan now to attend a wonderful evening of Christmas joy. Invite your friends, bring your family, encourage a coworker to attend a spectacular Christmas celebration!

Christmas will be here before you know it, and we are in the middle of all basketball seasons, middle school through NBA! Join us for a great time as we work on the fundamentals of the game. All campers will use age-appropriate basketballs and shoot on height-appropriate goals. Participants will be grouped by grade/ability and gender. More experienced 3rd graders should attend the later session. We hope you can join in the fun!

IF: Wichita 2018
February 9 & 10

IF: Wichita 2018

What IF we followed God with perseverance instead of insecurity? At IF:Gathering 2018, we will look at one of Paul’s letters to Timothy as he reminded him of the power and responsibility of sharing the gospel. We want to give God away in the very places He’s put us, so we’re going to gather for the purpose of remembering why following God and making disciples matters. We all get tired, we all wonder if what we’re doing matters, so IF:Gathering 2018 will be the reminder--it will be the celebration. The work we’re doing to share the gospel on the earth is worth it and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees. Join us!

“For this reason I remind you to fan into the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.  Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.” 2 Timothy 1:6-8 ESV

We will gather in the C3 Youth Center for Live Worship and the IF: simulcast from Austin. Doors will open 1 hour before the first session on each day.

Gathering Day 1: Friday, February 9th 6:00–9:00 PM

Gathering Day 2: Saturday, February 10th 9:00 AM–12:00pm, 2:00-5:00 PM

Cost: $20
