Tawnya was born and raised in Louisville KY and has 4 brothers and one sister (her oldest brother died in 1991). After high school she attended Eastern Kentucky University and after a head-on collision with college algebra, joined the Air Force in 1985. There she met and married Antonio,, in 198, who changed everything. They have 3 beautiful children, Aisha-20, Tonia-16, and Antonio II-13. Tawnya’s husband is assigned to McConnell Air Force Base and they have been a part of Central for three years. Tawnya loves serving at Central and has been a part of Women’s ministry since 2005, the choir since 2006, and was a sponsor in the Youth ministry for almost two years. She is a volunteer counselor at Choices Medical clinic when she’s not attending college classes.
