Youth Horizons
Youth Horizons is always looking for mentors to commit to spending quality time with young kids to both share the gospel, as well as, be a godly role model to help them through difficult times in their lives. Most kids are from single parent homes and greatly benefit from mentor relationships. This opportunity would be geared more towards individual families.

International Students Incorporated (ISI)
ISI is looking for individuals and families to adopt International students that have expressed interest in building a relationship with an American. Often times these students come here with no support base and are looking to learn about our culture and build friendships. This is an amazing outreach in that it is a way for us to share the gospel often times with those who are seeking understanding. What a blessing it is to share your faith and see a new believer grow and return home to share the gospel among their own people.

Wichita Children’s Home
This opportunity provides several opportunities for groups. They are always looking for groups to come in monthly to cook a meal for the children and build relationships with them. This provides a tremendous opportunity to share the love of Jesus through interaction, as well as, help teach them some basic skills, (like cooking), that they desperately need. There are also opportunities to make arrangements to come and help do work around the home to make it a more comfortable living place for the kids. This may involve painting buildings, planting gardens, or just helping clean up around the facility.

His Helping Hands
This ministry is always looking for groups and individuals to help meet the needs of the many people that come looking for help. Whether it be coming on a Saturday morning to assist the people themselves, or coming at other times to help organize, fix items, and get inventory there are many, many opportunities to help.

Hilltop Urban Ministries

There are many opportunities to help reach out to these people who feel all alone through painting projects, cleaning projects, or watching children while adults hear about the gospel.

Voice of the Martyrs
VOM has many opportunities to help our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering for their faith, but one in particular is extremely impactful for small groups. VOM has an up-to-date list of Christians currently in prison for their faith and are asking for groups or individuals to adopt them through prayer and letters. VOM commits to take letters of encouragement and get them translated so that we may be a light to those who are suffering for being part of our family. Often times the prisoner will be allowed to correspond to groups that send letters, which is an amazing experience.

Short-term Missions Trips
Central is continuously growing our short-term mission trip program as we see this as a vital part of the Christian walk. It allows groups to participate together in fulfilling the great commission, as well as, gain new insight and growth as they participate in some of our amazing ministries around the world. Trips can be for families with small children or for adults only, ranging from construction trips to evangelism-based trips. We have groups going to several different countries and would be happy to help your group put together and plan a trip.

Adopt a Missionary
We are always looking for groups to commit to building relationships with the missionaries we support. As extensions of our congregation it is important that we continue to encourage and pray for those serving in the field. This opportunity consists of praying for, getting regular updates from, and keeping in contact with a chosen missionary. It could also include hosting the missionary and their family while in town on furlough, or helping them when specific and/or emergency needs arise.
These are just a few of the many opportunities that are available here at the church. If you or your group are interested in participating in, or getting more information regarding, any of the above opportunities please contact Darren McClintock at mcclintockd@ccc.org or 316-688-4400.
