The Unselfers—The stated purpose of the ministry of Jesus was to bring in the Kingdom of God and to prepare people to become citizens of this Kingdom. The Church, (His Body) is therefore committed to this purpose. But, how are we to do this? There is the way the world builds kingdoms of various types, but is there a different way for the Church to bring in the kingdom of God? Because Jesus is “The Way”, He knows the way to bring in the Kingdom. We are studying the Gospel of Matthew to see the contrast between the world’s way and the way of Jesus. Taught by Pastor George Wood.

Encouragers—The current study series is “A Journey Through Life!” Marvin Martin, an octogenarian, will look back, (and forward) as he walks through 80+ years of life, talking about Biblical answers to issues we often face—in our family, workplace, church and community. Written material will be provided to help plan our journey and aid those who follow us. Coordinated by Marjorie Weniger—for adults 60+.

SOLO (back to top)

A fellowship group of senior adult that are alone, or are alone again. We meet the first Saturday evening of each month at 6 o’clock in the Crown Room for supper which is followed by various programs. Our members take turns cooking and providing the supper for everyone. Parlor Life Group (back to top)

This is the largest Life Group you will ever meet! We meet in the Church Parlor every Monday evening at 6 o’clock for supper, which the members take turns making and providing. Singing, Bible study and prayer follow at 7 o’clock. Led by Pastor George Wood.
