Encouragers—During January and February, Pastor George Wood will explore the definition that Jesus gave regarding a disciple from Luke 9:23-24 NIV."If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take his cross daily, and follow me...For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me and for the Gospel will save it." This is a tough assignment even for those who seriously want to become disciples. So, this sememster we will try to understand Jesus' call more fully by studying some of the parables in which he gave further illustrations of what it means to be His disciple. In March and April, Marvin Martin will focus on another key Biblical topical series.

 

This is the largest Life Group you will ever meet!  We meet in the Church Parlor every Monday evening at 6 o’clock for supper, which the members take turns making and providing.  Singing, Bible study and prayer follow at 7 o’clock.
