| Educational:
The strength of the JNA program is the quality of staff. Our staff
is committed, professional and caring. We have very little turn-over
in an industry that struggles with a high rate of turn over. Teachers
must have or be in the process of obtaining either a Child Development
Associate's Credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education,
Child Development, or a related field. The educational background
of our lead teachers is from a minimum of 12 hours of early childhood
education to a degree in early childhood education.
Many teachers' assistants are teachers-in-training working on one
of those degrees or credentials as well. In addition, each staff
member receives at least ten hours of continuing Education each
year. All staff are trained in basic first aid and signs and symptoms
of childhood illnesses.
Spiritual:
Each member of the staff must be a Christian whose life demonstrates
his/her faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior and who
is enthusiastic about sharing the love of God with children and
their families. |
