Children are an important part of Central Christian and our ministry to them is taken very seriously. Jesus established the importance of Central Kids when He said to the disciples, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Central Kids is a place to support parents in teaching God’s plan for their lives. It is also a place where children can make Christian friends and have the support of Christian people.

We believe the primary responsibility for training a child belongs to the parents. The church provides support to the parents through a variety of studies, classes and ministries.

We continue looking toward the future of your children and family Central Kids and see an ever growing need among our upper elementary kids. As they continue to face the trials of adolescence at an earlier age than ever we are challenged to be intentional and purposeful with our actions and ministry to them. In order to meet the needs of both your children and your family I am excited to announce my launch as the Upper Elementary Director.

To contact Kyle you can email him at fleetk@ccc.org.

We believe that even the youngest child can begin learning about Jesus through love, nurturing, and intellectual stimulation.

The nursery at Central is not the place of the 1950's. Then, the focus was on the nursery being in a custodial role. Today, we want to provide a place that parents can be involved in serving to God's glory while sharing with children. By maintaining a parent partnership, the children are nurtured and loved. Teaching them Godly play stimulates their intellects.

We welcome servants from all walks of life. Feel free to stop by and see which area is for you.

I believe that the early years in a child's life are the formative years in their development, both physical and spiritual.  As parents we are excited to see our children take those first steps, say their first word, grow and develop.  But as important as those milestones are, nothing can compare to seeing your child develop a relationship of their own with Jesus Christ.  As a mother of two college age children, I will always remember the day that I watched my children get baptized and I find continued joy in watching them grow in their relationship

with Jesus.  I believe that the foundation for individuals to make that decision for Christ begins by laying a spiritual foundation right from the start. I believe that process begins at home by the example and values set forth by parents.  The church is here to partner with the family.  I know the church has played an important part in the spiritual development of both of my children.  This is why I am passionate about children’s ministry.
